In theory, I'm a Buddhist. In practice, I'm a hoarder. It's a sickness. I hoard CDs. Stencils. Rubber stamps. Books. Videos.
I know it isn't exactly the time to make New Year resolutions, but I think any day is a great day for a fresh start. This is why I'm going to make simplification my new practice.
FlyLady has this exercise called the 27-fling-boogie. Basically, it's a challenge to go through a room, or a corner of a room and dispose of 27 things. I figure if I do a couple of these a day---actual trash and giving away/donating items for the rest of the year, I should be able to reclaim my junk room, erm, I mean---- office---- again.
The clutter is starting to take over the house. There is a chance we could be moving in the next year. Wouldn't it be nice to have way less to contend with, if that's the case!?
